Cancellation, Retainer, Delivery & Outdoor Conditions Policy

Retainers & Reserved Timeframes

All payments made toward an order are considered a retainer for your scheduled order, delivery, pickup, setup, and/or installation timeframe.

When your order is placed, Wow! Party Creations reserves the necessary time on our schedule specifically for your event. Once this timeframe has been reserved, we may be unable to accept other orders, deliveries, pickups, or installations during that period.

Your retainer is also used toward the purchase of materials and products needed to create your custom or made-to-order items.

Because your order is made specifically for you and your scheduled timeframe is reserved exclusively for your order, retainers and payments are non-refundable in the event of a customer cancellation.

Cancellations are accepted; however, payments previously made will not be returned.

Weather-Related Cancellation Exception

The only exception to our non-refundable payment policy is when Wow!** Party Creations determines that weather conditions are unsafe** for the scheduled setup, rental period, delivery, installation, and/or pickup.

Unsafe weather conditions may include, but are not limited to, severe thunderstorms, damaging winds, tornadic activity, flooding, or other weather conditions that we determine could create an unreasonable safety risk for our staff, customers, guests, equipment, or rental items.

If Wow!** Party Creations determines that the event setup or rental cannot safely take place because of weather conditions**, a refund will be issued for the affected order.

Weather decisions are based on the conditions and forecasts affecting the entire service period, including setup and pickup times—not only the scheduled event time.

Balloon Deliveries When No One Is Home

If balloons are delivered to the address provided by the customer and no one is available to receive the delivery, the balloons may be left in a reasonably safe location outside the residence or delivery location when possible.

Once balloons intended for indoor use are left outdoors because no recipient is available, Wow!** Party Creations cannot guarantee their condition, appearance, longevity, or quality.**

Outdoor temperatures, direct sunlight, humidity, wind, rain, cold temperatures, hot surfaces, landscaping, animals, and other environmental conditions can affect balloons very quickly.

Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and ensuring that someone is available to receive balloon deliveries during the scheduled delivery timeframe.

Outdoor Balloon Installations & Events

Balloons are sensitive to environmental conditions and, by their nature, cannot be guaranteed when used outdoors.

Extreme heat, direct sunlight, rain, sudden temperature changes, high humidity, strong winds, thunderstorms, and severe or unexpected weather—including tornadic activity—may affect the appearance, durability, position, and structural stability of balloons and balloon installations.

Wow! Party Creations uses professional-quality balloons and prepares our balloons using professional techniques, including pre-stretching when appropriate, to help them perform well under normal and average conditions. However, balloons are not completely predictable, and even professionally prepared balloons can shrink, expand, oxidize, move, distort, or pop due to environmental conditions.

For outdoor installations, we may use heavier bases, weights, supports, or additional equipment when appropriate to improve stability and safety. These precautions reduce risk but cannot guarantee that an outdoor balloon display will remain unchanged or undamaged throughout an event.

We cannot guarantee the durability, appearance, or structural condition of outdoor balloon installations during severe weather, excessive heat, rain, unexpected strong winds, or other conditions outside of our control.

Indoor Setups Are Recommended

Whenever possible, we recommend indoor balloon setups because indoor environments provide the most consistent conditions for balloon displays and installations.

Customers choosing an outdoor setup accept the additional risks associated with outdoor balloon décor and changing weather conditions.

We strongly recommend that customers planning an outdoor event have a Plan B or indoor backup location available. Weather conditions can change quickly, even when forecasts previously showed favorable conditions.

If conditions become unsafe, Wow! Party Creations reserves the right to delay, relocate, modify, discontinue, or cancel an outdoor setup or rental when necessary for the safety of our staff, customers, guests, equipment, and property.

Customer Acceptance

By placing an order and submitting payment, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this Cancellation, Retainer, Delivery & Outdoor Conditions Policy, including the non-refundable nature of retainers and the risks associated with outdoor balloon installations.
